She was reporting live coverage of Imran Khan’s Azadi March 2022 while employed by Pakistani media company Khabrain Group in Channel 5. She slipped from Imran Khan’s container while performing her live coverage assignment, fell to the ground, and the container drove over her. Imran Khan declared he would resume his Azadi March 2022 from Muridke, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan tomorrow after temporarily pausing it in the wake of her untimely death. Shahbaz Sharif, the Pakistani prime minister, tweeted his condolences to her family upon learning of her passing.
