Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI and a former prime minister, was shot during his party’s lengthy protest march against the government near Wazirabad on Thursday.

Khan was shot in the right leg, according to Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, who also stated that his condition is out of control.

The PTI leader has been taken to a hospital in Wazirabad after spearheading the lengthy march to Islamabad to call for new elections in the nation.

According to reports, shots were fired close to the container as PTI leaders, including Imran Khan, were on its roof.

Ahmad Chattah, the PTI leader, and Faisal Javed were two of the other four people hurt in the incident.

Police have in the meantime detained two individuals at the scene, and they have been taken for questioning to an undisclosed location.

Faisal Shahkar, the IG for Punjab, has also condemned the event.

The relocation of Imran Khan to Lahore

The PTI leader was hurt during the attack on his container during the protest and is now being transported to Lahore.
