Global 5G service revenue will reach $315 billion in 2023.

According to a recent report, the global 5G service revenue will increase from $195 billion this year to $315 billion in 2023.

According to Juniper Research, operator-billed 5G service revenue has increased by more than 60% in just one year.

According to research co-author Olivia Williams, “income from consumer connections will continue to be the cornerstone of 5G operator revenue gain notwithstanding the expansion of the Internet of Things.”

In 2027, connected personal devices including smartphones, tablets, and mobile broadband routers will account for over 95% of all 5G connections worldwide, Williams continued.

Due to operator tactics that minimise or eliminate any premium over current 4G subscription offerings, the accelerated migration of cellular subscriptions to 5G networks will be the primary driver of the growth in income.

Despite the projected economic slowdown in 2023, it predicts that over 600 million new 5G subscriptions would be created in the coming year, according to Mobile World Live.

According to the analysis, 5G networks will continue to expand and by 2027, 5G connections would account for more than 80% of all operator-billed revenue worldwide.
