Honda raises motorcycle pricing by up to Rs15,000 per model
LAHORE – Atlas Honda has raised the cost of its motorcycles by up to R15,000, with the new prices taking effect on November 1, 2022.
According to the latest price list released by the car giant, the price of the most popular unit of Honda CD 70 has climbed by Rs5,000 to Rs121,500.
The price of the company’s second most popular bike, the Honda CG 125, has been raised by Rs6,000, bringing the total to Rs185,900.
Honda CD Dream has been hiked by Rs5,000 to Rs129,500, and Honda Pridor has been increased by Rs6,000 to Rs161,900.
The top-of-the-line Honda CBF’s price has risen to Rs357,900, a Rs15,000 increase.
The motorbike manufacturer did not provide an explanation for the price increase. Despite rising pricing, prominent manufacturers like as Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha sold hundreds of thousands of units in past years.
Previously, Yamaha raised their rates for the fifth time in 2022. Despite rising pricing, Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha have recently sold hundreds of thousands of units.
The Ministry of Industries and Production previously said that Pakistan’s bike sector has achieved over 90% localization and that numerous structural and mechanical components are manufactured in the nation.
