Honda intends to broaden its SUV portfolio by introducing an A-segment crossover SUV. According to sources, the mini-SUV will be dubbed WR-V and will compete with the Kia Sonet, Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky, and other comparable SUVs.

The SUV is built on the same chassis as the Honda Jazz, a tiny hatchback that competes with the Suzuki Swift. Last year, the business introduced its idea in Indonesia. The idea, dubbed the RS SUV, included various current design characteristics. The leaked photographs of the production version, on the other hand, reveal a significantly simpler car.

Honda’s signature sharp headlamps, a mesh pattern front grille with a spotted chrome look, and a dynamic front bumper grace the front fascia. Apart from a few character lines, an aggressive alloy wheel design, and backed-out roof rails, the side has a standard appearance.

The rear end is reminiscent of various other Honda SUVs thanks to a common taillight and tailgate design. According to reports, the base edition of the WR-V will use a naturally aspirated 1.2 litre engine from the City or a 1.5 litre power plant from the BR-V. The RS version will have a more powerful turbo engine for additional sportiness.
