How to check filer status through sms

In Pakistan, it is mandatory to register with FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) if you have any source of income. Once registered, you are referred to as a filer. If your income falls under a specific tax bracket, you will be considered a taxpayer.

Wondering how to know if you’re an active taxpayer? The Active Taxpayer List (ATL) is a central record of individuals who have filed their income tax returns for the previous year. This list is maintained by the FBR and can easily be accessed on their official website.
