What is Shaban (Shab e Barat ki Ahmiyat)
Shab E Barat is also known as Mid-Sha’ban, Baraat Night, The Night Of Records, Laylat Al-Bara’at (Arabic), Nisf Shaban, Nisfu Syaban (Malay), Nim Sha’ban (Persian), Berat Kandili (Turkish).
Sayyiduna Abu Mamar states: The month of shaban beseeched in the court of Allah Almighty:O my lord!
you have placed me in between two noble months(Rajab ur Ramadan – ul -Mubarak).
Importance of fasts in Shaban
The final Prophet of Allah Almighty sayyiduna Muhammad would prepare for the fast of shaban just like he would prepare for the fast of Ramadan. furthermore, he declared the fast of Shaban to be the most virtuous of all fasts, out of respect of Ramadan.
Fasting in Shaban month was the most favorite month of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He even called Shaban as his month in one of the hadees.
“It was narrated from Umm Salamah: That the Prophet would not fast any month of the year in full except Shaban and he used to join it to Ramadan.” Vol. 3, Book 22, Hadith 2355

Hazrat Aata Bin Yasaar Radiallahu Anhu Se Marvi Hai Ke 15vi Shaban Maut Likhi Jaati Hai Yaha Tak Ke Aadmi, Safar Me Nikalta Hai Halaan ke Zindo Se Murdo Me Wo Likha Jaa Chuka Hota Hai Aur Aadmi Nikah Karta Hai Halaan ke Zindo Se Nikaal Kar Murdo, Me Likha Ja Chuka Hota Hai

Shab e Barat
our beloved prophet would worship on shab e barat in different manners and different occasions.
Sayyidatuna Aishah Siddiqah says: the Messengers of Allah prayed continuously whilst standing and sitting until morning cama.By the morning the blessed feet of the Holy prophet had become swollen so I began to massage His blessed feet.
People stay up all night and spend the night reciting Nawafil, reciting the Qur’an, asking for forgiveness from Allah, and begging for freedom from the fires of Hell. This is the night in which Allah Almighty determines the destiny of human beings. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described five nights in which supplication are not rejected, one of which is the fifteenth night of Shaban.
Shab e Barat Kia Ha (Shab e Barat Prayers NAWAFIL) In Urdu :
The one of those is Shab e Barat the whole year activities would be evaluated in this night. Muslims are being practiced prayers at an individual as well as collective level in Masjid because Shab e Barat 15 Shaban Prayer Nawafil .The Islamic Belief that the one voice came from the ALLAH that if anybody in interested in getting the Jannah he should come and pray on this night. It is the night full of blessings and shows that how a man with no good deed can transform into a new man as he was after birth. It is the night that act likes the eraser of sins of a man.
Shab E Baraat (15th Shaban) ki Namaz and Dua E Nisf Shaban
Importance of Shab e Barat Ghusl Perform Ghusl after Magrib Namaz for Safeguarding from Magic for the Whole Year till next Shab E Baraat Huzur Muhammad Salla Allahu ta’ala alayhi wa Sallam said: “Almighty Allah forgives all Muslims on this night, besides the fortune tellers, the magicians, the alcoholics, those who disrespect their parents and those who take part and encourage adultery”.
On the 15th night, After Magrib Namaz, Take Ghusl with Berry Leaves. Take 7 leaves, boil them in water and perform Ghusl with that water. Each person must have 7 leaves. After Ghusl, Perform 2 Rakats of nafl for tahiyatul wudu. In every Rakaat, after the Suratul Fatiha, you should read Ayatul Kursi once and Surah Ikhlas 3 times.
Nawafil for Shab-e-BaraatRead 6 rakaat Nafl prayer (2+2+2), after Maghrib. After every two rakaats read Surah Yaseen once or 21 times Surah Ikhlas (Surah Qul) and then dua Nisf e shaban.
This special prayer, by the blessing of Allah Almighty, will give you a healthy and prosperous life for the whole year.after Maghrib or Isha prayer read Surah Yasin three times, and after each time, read dua Nisfu Sha’ban see below) with the following intentions:
1) For Long Life / Omar darazi ke Liye :
Read 2 rakaahs of Nafil then Surah Yasin then dua Nisfu Shab’aan with niyyah (intention)
2) For Protection from Calamities and misfortunes:
Read 2 rakats of Nafl then Surah Yasin then Dua Nisf Shab’aan reading with niyyah (intention) for Protection from Calamities.

Allaahumma Yaa Zal-manni wa laa yamunnu ‘alayh, yaa Zal-jalaali wal-ikraam, yaa zat-tawli wal-‘in’aam. Laa ilaaha illaaa Anta Zahrullaajiinaa, wa jaarul-mustajiiriina, wa Amaanulkhaa-‘ifiin.
Allaahumma in kunta katabtanii ‘indaka fii ‘ummil-kitaabi shaqiyyan ‘aw mahruuman ‘aw matruudan ‘aw muqattaran ‘alayyna fir-rizqi famhu..
Allaahumma bi-fazlika shaqaawatii wa hirmaanii wa tardii waqtitaara rizqi, wa ‘asbitnii ‘indaka fii ‘ummil-kitaabi sa’iidam-marzuuqammuwaffaqal-lil-khayraati, fa innaka qulta wa quwlukal-haqqu, fii kitaabikal-munzali, ‘alaalisaani Nabiyyikal-Mursali, yamhullaahu maa yashaa-‘u wa yusbitu wa ‘indahuu ‘ummul kitaab ‘Ilaahi bit-tajallyil-‘a-zami, fii laylatinnisfi min shahri sha’baanal-Mukarrami, ‘allatii yufraqu fiihaa kullu ‘amrin hakiiminw-wa yubramu, ‘an takshifa ‘annaa minal-balaaa-‘i wal balwaaa-‘i maa na’lamu wa maa laa na ‘lamu, wa Anta bi-hii ‘a’lam. Innaka Antal-‘a’azzul-Akram. Wa sallalaahu ta’aalaa ‘alaa sayyidinaa Muhammad-dinw-wa ‘alaaa ‘aalihii wa sahbihii wa sallama Wal-Hamdu lillaahi Rabbil-Aalameen.
