Official Launch of Fly Jinnah’s Flight Operations

Pakistan now has a fourth domestic airline that has been formally launched. Fly Jinnah is the brand name of the new airline. Today is the official start of the airline’s operations.

On October 31, 2022, during a formal cake-cutting ceremony, Fly Jinnah officially launched. The first flight, an A320, departed from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi towards Islamabad.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) saluted the A320 with water on the landing in Islamabad.

The airline was established as a joint venture between the Lakson Group and the Air Arabia Group in September 2021, with its corporate headquarters in Karachi. From Karachi, the airline operates daily flights to Peshawar, Lahore, and Islamabad.

It provides four weekly flights to Quetta in addition to the daily flights.

But for the first year, the airline exclusively runs domestic flights. In the second year after it launches, it will begin offering international flights.

The airline’s cake-cutting celebration was attended by many guests. Adel Abdullah Ali, the CEO of Air Arabia Group, Zulfiqar Ali Lakhani, the director of Colgate Palmolive Pakistan and Fly Jinnah, Arman Yahya, the director general (DG) of CAA, Khaqan Murtaza, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Saleem Mandviwala, the senator for the PPP, and Fahd Hussain,

The new airline will have a big impact on Pakistan’s aviation industry, according to the company’s COO, Arman Yahya. He made sure that the new airline’s passengers would have secure and comfortable flights.

Hopefully, Fly Jinnah will grow to be Pakistan’s top-rated and most reliable domestic airline. The airline only operates for a short time.
