Redmi has released one of the most cheap gaming-capable televisions of 2022. The Redmi XT Gaming TV arrives just a week after the Chinese manufacturer debuted the premier tier Gaming TV X Pro in China, but the XT Gaming TV is a lower-cost option.

Despite being a low-cost option, Redmi’s new gaming TV does not skimp on functionality. It is available in three sizes: 55 inches, 65 inches, and 75 inches, and all of them feature 4K resolution with 120Hz displays, allowing for a seamless 120 FPS in games.

The display supports Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology, and variable refresh rate (VRR) to save power, reduce screen tearing, and enhance the overall viewing experience. The hardware-level partitioned backlight provides 4096 brightness levels to choose from.

The panel can display over 1 billion colours and supports 94% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut for colour accuracy. A quad-core A73 CPU with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB built-in storage graces the internals. This enables the TV to run many programmes concurrently without crashing.

The TV’s audio system has four speakers, each with a 25W power output and two bass-enhancing inverter tubes. Speech commands are supported on the XT Gaming TV owing to Xiaomi’s own XiaoAI voice assistant. For screen projection, it may also be connected to your smartphone, laptop, and other third-party applications.

You won’t need to buy an HDMI 2.1 cable separately to enjoy the full 120 FPS awesomeness because the TV comes with one.
