Sidra Ameen,Breaking the record for the most centuries by Pakistani bats
Sidra Ameen, Pakistan’s flashy opening batswoman, struck a spectacular century against Ireland in the first ODI, shattering the previous mark for most hundreds by a Pakistani batswoman.
Only four Pakistani batters have reached the century mark, and Sidra is the only one to have done so more frequently than any other.

Sidra has now eclipsed veteran batter Javeria Khan, who had two centuries in her 14-year international career, by scoring three hundreds in one-day international cricket.
In addition to Sidra and Javeria, the Women in Green have also had ODI hundreds from Muneeba Ali and former cricketer Nain Abidi.
In the same game, Muneeba Ali also hit her first century in ODIs as the openers put on an incredible opening stand of 158.
Sidra reached her remarkable century in just 102 balls and has since batted 135 off just 119. In 50 overs of cricket, the elegant opener also recorded the greatest individual score by a Pakistani hitter. With her record knock, she bested Javeria Khan’s 133* against Sri Lanka from 2015.
With her current batting average of 142 off 125 balls, the 30-year-old is poised to lead the Pakistani women to their best ODI total. The Women in Green are on track to surpass 300 runs for the first time ever.
