The new GSX125 was introduced by Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAS) in 2022 to enthusiastic applause. Market rumour suggested that the business would switch to the GSX125 after discontinuing the GS150SE.

ProPakistani was informed by a corporate representative present at the event that the bike was only on show and that its release had not yet been confirmed. On PSMC’s social media, a new video teaser, however, seems to indicate that the launch is about to happen.

The Honda CB125F and Yamaha YBR125 will be the rivals of the GSX 125. Unlike previous Suzuki bikes, the GSX 125 features a sleek and contemporary appearance with dynamic posture, aggressive street-bike style, and alloy wheels with a crisp appearance.

It has a 125cc single-cylinder petrol engine with air cooling that generates 10.45 horsepower and 9.2 Newton metres of torque. Its curb weight is 126 kilos, and it boasts a fuel economy of 42 kilometres per litre, according to several international bike reviews. It has a 5-speed constant-mesh gearbox and a return shift pattern.

The motorcycle has a drum brake in the back and a front disc brake with two piston callipers. For suspension, it includes spring-loaded shock absorbers in the back and two inverted fork tubes up front.

It is anticipated that the firm would either market the bike as a locally manufactured bike in the distant future or as a CBU in the near future because the demonstration bike was a CBU. After import fees and taxes, we estimate the GSX 125 would cost between Rs. 350,000 and Rs. 380,000 in the latter scenario.
