Pakistan celebrated its 76th Independence Day on August 14, 2023

Pakistan celebrated its 76th Independence Day on August 14, 2023, with great national fervor. People all over the country gathered to celebrate their freedom and national pride.

Official ceremonies were held in major cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar. The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan gave speeches and hoisted the national flag. 

Schools and colleges were closed for the day and students participated in flag hoisting ceremonies and patriotic events. They also took part in debates and essay competitions on the theme of independence.

People from all walks of life came together to celebrate Independence Day. There were special prayers for the country's progress and prosperity. People also visited the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal, the founder of Pakistan.

The main official ceremony was held at the Pakistan National Monument in Islamabad. The President, Arif Alvi, gave a speech in which he highlighted the achievements of Pakistan over the past 76 years and outlined the government's plans for the future.

A military parade was held at the Parade Ground in Islamabad. The parade showcased the might of the Pakistani Armed Forces and their commitment to defending the country. 

Musical performances were held in major cities across the country. These performances featured patriotic songs and dances that celebrated the rich culture and history of Pakistan.

Fireworks displays were held in major cities across the country. These displays lit up the night sky and added to the festive atmosphere of Independence Day celebrations.
