At the Islamabad Airport, it is claimed that Pakistan Customs employees cleared 800 kilogrammes or more of pork.

According to sources, five foreign people who arrived at Islamabad airport on an aircraft operated by Air Blue on Wednesday night were approved despite having more than 800 kg of pork on board.
According to sources, customs agents investigated part of the luggage but neglected to inspect the cartons containing the pork. The top Customs officials allegedly knew in advance which travellers were carrying pork.

According to sources, the identical passenger’s pork that was seized by Customs a few months previously was squandered. Later, the foreign traveller insulted the officials in front of others. According to sources, the department is looking into the event.

It is important to note that although the government has maintained the Entry Policy Order 2002 prohibition on the import of pork, the prohibited good is allegedly being passed with the help of airport employees in Karachi and Islamabad.
