A corporate event was hosted by HBL, one of Pakistan’s top banks, at the Pakistan High Commission in London as a part of the “Roshan Raho” RDA effort to introduce its Roshan Digital Account proposal to members of the Non-Resident Pakistani (NRP) population.

Attending the occasion were NRPs from various corporate and business sectors. Mr. Moazzam Ahmad Khan, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Mr. Syed Mohsin Ali Shah, HBL’s Head of Retail Products, and Ms. Shazia Gul attended the corporate event (Head Women Market programme & RDA, HBL)

Speaking at the session, Mr. Syed Mohsin Ali Shah emphasised the efforts undertaken by the Government of Pakistan (GOP) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to make RDA a practical and dependable financial conduit for the Pakistani people living abroad. He expressed his gratitude to the neighbourhood for lending the Roshan Digital Account programme, which has been pursued as a crucial national cause, resounding support.

A brief on RDA, its related value-added services, and the quick and easy process for opening a digital account with HBL Bank were also provided by Team HBL. The convenience of conducting all of their financial transactions digitally was also explained to the attendees.

The gatherings were interactive, and the attendees were appreciative of SBP & HBL’s efforts to assist RDA customers by providing value-added services like Roshan Apna Ghar, Roshan Apni Car, and Roshan Samaaji Khidmat, allowing them to meet their basic needs for a comfortable lifestyle and those of their families.

The HBL team also recognised the significant economic contributions that the Pakistani diaspora has made and continues to make to Pakistan’s development and prosperity.

“Roshan Digital Account (RDA) is a great initiative by the State Bank of Pakistan. The IPG Group is honoured and privileged to facilitate this drive on our partner bank’s behalf and contribute to the prosperity of Pakistan,” said Jawad Ghulam Rasool, CEO of the IPG Group-Pakistan, the organising committee behind the “Roshan Raho” Drive.

The IPG Group Pakistan wants to infiltrate the remainder of Europe and North America with the RDA core message of investment opportunities towards Pakistan after several successful executions of the RDA campaign in the Middle East region and, most recently, the United Kingdom.
