Over 12,000 Pakistani students enrolled for the competition, and 30+ roadshows were held onsite to educate students about the ICT Competition 2022-23.

Registration for the Huawei Middle East ICT Competitions 2022-23 is now closed. This is the seventh time the event has taken place in Pakistan. The competition seeks to create a forum for students to compete and exchange ideas in order to improve their ICT knowledge as well as practical and application abilities.

The competition also serves as a forum for worldwide talent contacts as well as collaboration between governmental organisations, higher education institutions, training agencies, and businesses, therefore encouraging the education, growth, and employment of ICT talent.

Pakistan’s national competitiveness would be enhanced through the development of ICT expertise. Connectivity with industry development will be emphasised, directing students to comprehend the employer’s perspective through the development of their ICT competence.

Contestants receive the most recent updates on new technologies that are altering Pakistan’s digital economy throughout the Huawei ICT Competition stages. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Datacom, and, most crucially, security are among them. The competition provides students with a unique opportunity to put their skills to the test in these cutting-edge disciplines, while also assisting schools and universities in better understanding the talent requirements of today’s leading corporations.
