UK-based Nothing has released its third product, the Ear (stick) wireless earbuds, as well as its second audio offering. These resemble the Nothing Ear (1) but lack silicone tips and a lipstick-like casing.

The cylindrical casing adheres to Nothing’s signature design language, remaining translucent to highlight the buds when not in use. Because it is a lipstick-inspired casing, the buds are accessed by twisting from the top. Nothing says it better than the ergonomic shape of these earphones, which allow you to use them all day.

Each earbud has 12.6 mm drivers, and the charging case provides about 29 hours of battery life. A single charge provides 7 hours of music playback, but the charging case may extend that to 29 hours.

Unfortunately, there is no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), but you do get Clear Voice Technology, which filters out wind and crowd noises from your calls using three microphones on each side. You can control music playing, modify the volume, and enable voice assistance with the touch controls.

There is also a Bass Lock function that dynamically adjusts the bass volume of incoming audio based on your surroundings. The IP54 dust and water resistance guards against splashes but not submersion. Fast Pair compatibility is also available for Android phones.

When you link these earbuds with Nothing Phone (1), you’ll enjoy extras like configurable gesture controls, EQ tweaks, and a Find My Earbuds function. All of these are easily accessed via the phone’s fast settings screen. To get these capabilities on other Android and iOS devices, download the Nothing X app.
